Summer Camp takes a lot of amazing people working together as a team. We love summer camp and making a difference in the lives of campers, but we understand that only happens if we have a strong, healthy team.

Program Staff
- Must be graduated from high school
- Staff Training is required
- These positions require an application and interview process

- Staff Training is required for new CL
- Your primary job is to love and care for your campers during the week of camp
- Ideally you will have a LIT with you learning from you as you serve and lead
- If you can't serve the entire summer, consider the age group you best connect with and join us for a week.
- Must be going into Grade 11 or 12
- Staff Training is required
- LIT camp runs the week after staff training, alongside Teen Camp. During this week you will experience camp, build community and learn to lead.
- LIT's support Cabin Leaders at Huzzah, Sparks and Adventure caring for their cabin for the week.
- LIT CAMP: in the past we have had all our LIT's attend Staff Training for a week and then attend Teen Camp as a Camper the following week. Based on their feedback we felt it was important to make more of a hybrid experience for them and created an LIT camp that runs the same time as Teen Camp.
- LIT's have their own program , however, they have time where they intersect with the teen campers for activities, both for fun and to learn the other side of leadership. They will experience times of bonding and building community with the LITs.
- There is a limit of 10 guys, and 10 girls.
- Must be going into grade 9-12
- Staff Training is required (June 30-July 7th)
- Work Crew are campers during Teen Camp
- 12 Work Crew are selected during Huzzah and Sparks, to support the Program Team
Position Descriptions
Program Coordinator
We are looking for a Program Coordinator who will specifically oversee scheduling, staff, transitions and summer staff meetings. This person should be detailed and love scheduling and working with teams
Program Staff Admin
Support the program coordinator helping manage the administrative/ operational aspect of camp to ensure smooth delivery of camp - keep everything in an orderly fashion so kids can have fun and know Jesus. This is for someone who is organized, a good communicator, and able to see the big picture and work with details. Responsibilities may include coordinating with Kitchen on meal/ dietary needs, being responsible for TUCK/ registration related paperwork, etc.
Program Staff Relational
Create a culture of hospitality and encouragement at camp. This position is for someone who enjoys working with people and being at the front line of loving and caring for staff/ children and has a big heart for building community. Responsibilities may include creating a get-to-know-our-staff board at each camp, coordinating encouragement notes during the morning staff meetings, leading camp champ challenge and ice breaker, etc.
Program Staff Fun and Games
Create a safe and inclusive environment for all leaders and kids to play and have fun at camp. This position is for someone who is fun, high in energy, good with crowds, and loves working with kids. Responsibilities may include planning/ organizing/ coordinating and executing all games and activities at camp, such as night game, field game, water day, theme night, camp champ challenge, ice-breaker, etc.
Cabin Leader Head
Oversee, support and mentor CL during their time at camp. This position is for someone who is a mature, experienced leader who exemplifies Christian faith and lifestyle in all areas and is passionate about cabin leading and discipleship.
LIT Head
Oversee, support and mentor LIT during their time at camp. This role carries with it the additional responsibility of helping plan and runs LIT Camp. This position is for someone who is a mature, experienced leader who exemplifies Christian faith and lifestyle in all areas and is passionate about investing in young leaders and discipleship.
Work Crew Head
Responsible for training, team building, scheduling, supporting and caring for the Work Crew during their time at camp
Worship Leader
Cultivate a worshipful heart and invite staff and campers into the presence of God through music at camp. This position is for musicians who enjoy worship music, have led worship, and have the heart to invest in and nurture other musicians to be Christ-following leaders both during and outside of chapel worship time. Responsibilities include coordinating all musical worship related aspects, e.g. planning song list/ worship sets, recruit/ oversee worship team, communicate with av/mm coordinator for all technical needs, etc.
Cabin Leaders (graduated high school)
Create a fun, safe, Christ-centered environment for a small group of assigned campers from the beginning of camp to the end. Their role is to lead, guide, love, care for, and relationally connect with campers through various daily camp activities.
LIT (grades 11-12)
Work alongside Cabin Leaders to serve, love and care for a small group of campers from the beginning of camp to the end. LIT's have their own camp during teen camp where they will experience camp, build community and learn to lead and serve
Work Crew (grades 9-10 but open to grades 11-12 as well)
Play a key role in supporting the program staff and Cabin Leaders/LIT's during camp.
Casual Support
For those who have the flexibility and are available to come to camp for a few hours or a day or two to support all summer program staff in a variety of ways. This has proven to be a valuable role and support to our cabin leaders and program staff. Clear days and times of when you can be at camp are required...if possible 24 hrs in advance
Photo. Video
Capture camp highlights to create lasting memories, promotional/ social media materials, and camp video/slideshow for the final chapel. Ability to take good photos, and edit/ create an engaging slideshow or video is required. Responsibilities include taking photos during camp, taking cabin and group photos, creating engaging slideshow/ video for the last day of camp.
Lifeguard
perform lifeguard duty to ensure the safety of everyone at the pool. Must be 16 years or over and have up-to-date certification. Option to also cabin lead or help out in other areas of camp. Paid position available.
