Snow!!! Not quite on time for a white Christmas but late is better than never! At least we think so. Camp has turned into a winter wonderland. There’s something magical about a blanket of snow covering the forest and everything around it. The world seems a little quieter and peaceful and you kind of want to put back up your Christmas tree, put on the festive music and curl up by the fire with hot chocolate and a good book. While we might not have the Christmas tree and festive music anymore, we still have the fire place and hot cocoa – all you would need to bring is a good book! With Christmas over, we have started a new season of groups every week until…next November? We have a couple of big upcoming events. First, we have a booth at the Vancouver Missions Fest from January 27-29th. Come bring your friendly smile to our booth and we will give you chocolate! Then the weekend right after that – February 3-5th – is our annual Teen Winter Camp – WinterBlast 2012. There is still room so send in your registrations ASAP! You won’t want to miss out! We also have a few availabilities on our bookings calendar so it’s never too late to try to squeeze your group in! All you have to do is call or email Clarinda at 604-794-7790 or bookings@chariscamp.com and she will try her hardest to get you in! We hope you have a wonderful time in this snowy season. Parents, remember to take time for your kids in the snow – you might turn into a kid all over again too! And kids, dress warm, play hard and drink lots of hot chocolate!!
